POLYFORM PRODUCT RANGE Listed below are the items that are required to seal leakages. The list forms our standard range of products, for leak sealing Special problems or certain specific situations may require additional items not listed. For external pipe encasement leak sealing methods.
			Polyform Product code 3081/4 – 1-litre units, supplied in sealed containers for long-term storage. The two part polyurethane resin is designed to meet performance specification for long term sealing life.
			Polyform Product code 3082/5 – 2 - litre units, supplied in sealed containers for long-term storage. The two part polyurethane resin is designed to meet performance specification for long term sealing life.
			Cleaning strap Product code 3006. A flexible belt with hardened steel cutters. Cleans rust and hardened crustation from pipes by simple back and forth motion around the pipe.
			Precoat Product code 2007 Contains abrasive strip, Precoat liquid, applicator sponge, and gloves. Clean the pipe surface using the adhesive tape. A one part liquid that aids the adhesion properties of the Polyform to substrates, that has long term storage capabilities. Wipe the cleaned surface of the substrate with a thin layer of the Precoat, drying takes about 5 minutes in normal ambient conditions, longer in low temperatures. The remaining Precoat can be used until the bottle is empty.
			Low Pressure wrapping kit Product reference 3058 Contains spatula applicator, mixing stick, gloves and special wrapping film. Used in conjunction with Polyform. The stick mixed the components of Polyform, the spatula is used to apply the mixed Polyform, and the film applies compressive force onto the Polyform to stop leaks without stopping the flow in the pipe, at pressures up to 100-millibar internal pipe pressure. Can also be used on pressures above 100 millibar pressure in pipes that can be turned off whilst the leaks are repaired.
			Low Pressure wrapping film Product reference 3050 Contains a roll of special wrapping film. Used in conjunction with Polyform. The film applies compressive force onto the Polyform to stop leaks without stopping the flow in the pipe, at pressures up to 100-millibar internal pipe pressure. Can also be used on pressures above 100 millibar pressure in pipes that can be turned off whilst the leaks are repaired. Additional items are needed to complete application using Polyform.
			High Pressure vent pack Product reference 3057 Contains all the items of low pressure wrapping kit reference 3058, plus special vent tube, sealing mastic, and sockets. Used for sealing leaks when pressure cannot be reduced to 100 millibar, or the pipe flow cannot be stopped. Cut the vent tube to length, and fit around the leaking area. Whilst venting the leak through the sockets apply Polyform over the whole area. Once cured seal the sockets using the plugs, or inject with Ecoseal.
			Polypatch PE repair kit Product reference 3003 For sealing damaged PE gas, and all plastic pipe work that has leaks or is subsequently damaged. Can cope with holes in pipes up to 40 millimetre’s diameter. Can be used on pipes up to 250 millimetre’s diameter. Deals with live leaks at pressure up to 100 millibar pressure, higher pressures may require pressure reduction during application. Use in conjunction with Polyform the kit contains Sealing tape, two stage sealing polymer pad, staples, knife and gloves. Seal the damaged area and cover with Polyform.
			Pin hole corrosion repair kit. Product reference 3088 For sealing leaks live in pipes with corrosion holes up to 5 millimetres in diameter. Capable of dealing with pin hole leaks in all pipe diameters up to 500-millimetre diameter, including bends, and pin hole leaks in welds. Used in conjunction with Polyform the kit contains Polymer pad, sealing straps.
			Strapping tool Product reference 2036 Used for tensioning the straps in the pin hole corrosion repair kit product reference 3088.
			For external pipe injection leak sealing methods.  Gapseal Product code 3063 A 440 millilitre two part liquid supplied in a strong plastic cartridge for easy storage, and use. One viscosity copes with varying leaking volumes. The cartridge contains an injection nozzle that can be resealed, when only partial quantities of Gapseal are used. Dispensed from a hand operated cartridge gun, the sealant will seal live leaks by injecting through a drilled hole in the outside of the leaking fitting. Gapseal cures to a hard but tough polymer.
			Ecoseal Product Code 3065 A 440 millilitre two part liquid supplied in a strong plastic cartridge for easy storage, and use. One viscosity copes with varying leaking volumes. The cartridge contains an injection nozzle that can be resealed, when only partial quantities of Ecoseal are used. Dispensed from a hand operated cartridge gun, the sealant will seal live leaks by injecting through a drilled hole in the outside of the leaking fitting. Ecoseal cures to a flexible polymer that copes with high frequency vibration like road or rail traffic.
			Epoxy seal Product code 3066 A 440 millilitre two part liquid supplied in a strong plastic cartridge for easy storage, and use. Epoxyseal copes with non-potable water leaks, and pipe lines operating at temperatures up to about 100 degrees Centigrade (212 F).The cartridge contains an injection nozzle that can be resealed, when only partial quantities of Epoxyseal are used. Dispensed from a hand operated cartridge gun, the sealant will seal live leaks by injecting through a drilled hole in the outside of the leaking fitting. Epoxyseal cures to a hard but tough polymer.
			Injection hoses Product reference 3098a Used with Gapseal and Ecoseal to dispense the liquids into the leakage areas. Complete with fitting suitable for attaching to the cartridges, and a 1/8” BSP or NPT threaded hole.
			Injection Gun Product code 3061 Hand operated injection gun for dispensing Ecoseal, Epoxyseal and Gapseal cartridges whilst pipes are under pressure.
			Injection tool kits All items contained in a metal tool box for drilling the pipe, and injecting the sealants. Contains: Drills, drill guides, air drill, 1/8 taps, tap wrenches, injection hoses, 6 cartridges of either Ecoseal, Epoxyseal, or Gapseal, and injection gun all in a metal tool box.
